The big universe in a small closed space.
Kai Masayuki has been developing the theme of the atom, the Earth and the universe since 1980, through creations in collaboration with the great nature. The sun, the rain, the wind, the earth, the sea, the snow, the weather and the space. They all have a close connection with a series of works of art.
40x40x10 cm, technique: The canvas (cotton) is spread in the ground and buried. It is excavated after 3 months-1 year (archaeological excavation work). The the hollowed-out tissue is washed and sterilized in the sun. It is glued on a new textile canvas. It is sewn with a sewing machine (noodle thread).
