Without Words (2020-2021)

I feel insecure with the words - they sound ambiguous to me. I prefer images. For years I have been collecting images with sentences important to me in video stories. I wrote the sentences from 10 of these videos on a piece of paper.
The first filling of the sheet was just writing. The second - it was fun. The words clung to each other, wrote other, new sentences, and in some places created new meanings. When the third layer of text was written, the "teases" became a dispute. In the next, fourth, the dispute intensified, the game got rougher, turned into a "battle". With each subsequent filling of the sheet, the battle became fiercer. The sentences lost their meaning and pushed their words into every bright spot. The glowing holes diminished. The words gave up their meaning and pushed their letters into every gap. The sentences first lost the battle, then the words, and finally the letters. They smudged into a common gray-black spot. I had decided not to cheat, but I couldn't stand it and started to change the pencil with a softer one for each top layer of the text. So at the time of writing, some words seemed to hold up. These instant enlightenments helped me resist the "battle for meaning."
