The things I do are inspired by the processes in modern post-consumer society and the accompanying practices and radical processes seeking control and management of individuals and groups.
The leather things I do are a collaboration between an object, a drawing and an object. They are influenced by mass culture, street art, tattoos, the new reality.

Boris Kolev (born in 1970 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian painter who graduated from the National Academy of Arts “Nikolay Pavlovich” with a degree in Painting. His artistic work is inspired by nature, archaeology, and the concept of eternity. His paintings blend realistic forms with abstract suggestions, exploring the connection between the past and the present.
He has exhibited his works in renowned galleries such as the National Art Gallery, Sofia City Art Gallery, and the National Palace of Culture. His artworks are part of numerous private and corporate collections in Bulgaria, Germany, the USA, France, Canada, Belgium, and other countries. Notable among them are the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria, LITEX–CO INTERNATIONAL, and VBH – Poland.
